Rubber Hangers

Vibration isolation is achieved by rubber compound that is moulded in various A Shore hardness ranging from 30 to 70 durometer. They offer excellent damping characteristics to dissipate the vibration energy and can be selected for deflections of up to 13 mm (0.5 inch). There are two basic types: open and housed rubber hangers. Open rubber hangers (AH-OR) are based on a single rubber element and their load capacity is limited. For more versatile and higher load capacities housed type rubber hangers can be used, where multiple rubber elements can be housed within the same hanger.
