Isolators with Single Stud

These seismic isolators are spring type, where the vibration isolation is achieved by a single spring that is encapsulated with a steel housing. This ductile housing provides great earthquake protection by resisting seismic forces in all directions. The distinctive feature of these isolators is the single stud that allows for equipment base or support to be installed directly, eliminating the need for additional bolts or nuts. Standard springs with deflections of 25, 50, 75 mm (1, 2, 3 inch) are used to combat low frequency vibrations. The load capacity of the isolator is limited to the capacity of the spring, hence these products are preferred with small to medium size equipment such as fans, pumps, small chillers etc.
