Seismic Snubbers

Seismic snubbers are the most common earthquake protection for MEP equipment and they come in various shapes and sizes. All snubbers have load resisting surfaces that are protected by special rubber layer. It is very common for these items to be used in conjunction with vibration isolation products like pads or spring mounts. Where vibration isolation is not of a concern snubbers are used on their own. They can resist seismic forces in single or multiple directions.
